NOBEL JUBILEE SYMPOSIUM

"BEYOND GENES"

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION


LOCATION: The symposium will take place in Lecture Halls Adam, Bertil and Cesar in the Berzelius Laboratory at the Karolinska Institutet Campus in Solna (click here for a map of the campus).

SEATING: The symposium lectures will be given in Lecture Hall Adam and will be video simulcasted in the adjacent Lecture Halls Bertil and Cesar. There are 300 seats in Adam, 200 in Bertil and 200 in Cesar. In Adam about 150 seats have been reserved for Nobel Laureates, Speakers, Members of the Nobel Assembly, and a small number of invited persons, including scientific jounalists. The remaining 550 seats are available on a first come - first served basis.

ADMISSION: The two main entrances to the Berzelius laboratory (Berzelius väg 3 and 9) will be opened at 7.45 am. Queues will be formed in front of the three lecture halls, and the doors to the lecture halls will be opened at 8.30 am.

LUNCHES: On December 6 and December 7, lunch can be obtained in the adjacent  restaurant Jöns-Jacob. 

REGISTRATION:  No registration is required.

INFORMATION DESK: During the symposium, there will be an information desk in the foyer outside the lecture halls. Printed programs will be available at the entrances to the lecture halls and at the desk.
